Description - GRP Bespoke Step Over Platforms

GRP Step Over Platforms are predominantly made up of 38mm thick GRP Grating and GRP pultruded C’ Channel to create a step up/ over platform. Bespoke platforms can include other GRP profiles and base feet if required.
 
All of our platforms are built as standard with contrasting yellow Anti slip Stair Nosing’s on each step/ landing. 
The purpose of the GRP Platforms are to provide safe access to create an elevated walkway above trenches, cables and unsafe walkway. All of our platforms are designed to be extremely durable for outdoor use and are portable and adjustable if necessary.

The below platforms are available in virtually any size required.

Step Ups / Step Overs

These platforms are fabricated as standard with an overall height of  approximately 238mm, with clearance under of 200mm.

Other set heights and sizes are available on request.

With contrasting Anti-slip-nosing on both sides. These can be either a 55mm x 55mm or a 70mm x 30mm profile at your discretion.

The Span is the bridging dimension and the width is the side in which you would step over.

Available colours are either green, grey or yellow.

The point load is approx 150kg.

Step Ups / Step Overs with Handrail System

These platforms are made using the same materials as above and can be custom made to any size. Included in this platform is a tubular handrail system, this offers exceptional support to the user and is a more secure option when installed at height or where the underneath walkway may be hazardous to cross over.

Available colours are either green, grey or yellow.

The point load is approx 150kg.

Whilst GRP Safety offer some standard ‘up and over’ and platform sizes, in most cases the stairs and platforms are bespoke made due to the wide variety of applications they are required. As the system is made up of a variety of GRP components, virtually any design can be catered for.
