Description - Aluminium Stair Nosings
 | Aluminium stair nosings offer a visually higher quality finish over the GRP stair nosings. The main area of the nosing is finished in a hard wearing powder coated colour, either silver/grey or safety yellow. The main foot area has a GRP anti slip strip inserted in so that whilst providing a nice finish they still offer good slip resistance. Two profile sizes are offered, 70x30mm and 55x55mm. The latter meaning that for new build applications, the requirements of Part ‘M’ of the Building Regulations are met. For refurb of existing buildings, either profile size can be used. |
 | The Aluminium nosings are designed for internal applications and can be installed on virtually any substrate including wood, concrete, metal and tiled areas. The anti slip GRP insert strip has an adhesive backing and sent loose with the nosings. This means that once the nosings are glued and screwed into place, the strip can then be fitted into the rebate on the nosing. This offers complete concealed fixings which improves the visual appearance on any application. As soon as the product has been installed, it can be walked on immediately meaning minimal downtime for your staircase. |

Offers the greatest surface area for slip resistance. | The GRP insert strip is 1mm thick and has an anti slip aggregate on the top surface. It is 52mm wide and covers the length of the nosing. The strip fits perfectly into the groove on the aluminium and the strip comes with a self adhesive backing so the nosings can be screwed down and the strip put on top hiding the fixings. |

| Stock lengths of the anti slip aluminium stair nosings are 3020mm and can be cut down to any length as required for your application. Common lengths are 750mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, 2000mm & 3000mm. |
