Grating Ramp Installed At Queen Elizabeth Hospital 2025

In November we saw our GRP team install a bespoke Grating Ramp at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

A team of three carefully constructed the ramp using our GRP Pultruded profiles, Kickplate to pose as a sturdy Handrail and GRP Grating and GRP Grating Ramp.

GRP Ramps are particularly useful to aid pedestrian and light vehicle access, as well as offering excellent draining due to the open mesh holes.

Payloads vary dependent on span but a ramp of this size can hold approx 1000kg.
